As a former biology professor, curriculum creator, program developer, and current homeschool mama, I love leading fun learning activities! 

I am able to offer several options, and am happy to visit your school or program. Rewriting the Rules is marketed for 1st-4th grade, but my school visit is completely adaptable to various ages. My book is also a great fit for anti-ableism curriculum.

  • Ages 4-5

    Colorful brain models, engaging sensory play, and games combined with a book read related to the brain!

  • Ages 6-10

    Science lessons on the brain, brain sizes, brain regions, combined with a book read. Students will make their own brain hats and construct playdoh brain models! I provide all brain models and materials.

  • Upper Elementary - High School

    I adapt lessons accordingly and can include more grade-appropriate activities including microscopy related to the brain, lessons on neurons and how they work, and engaging out-of-seat activities to learn about how neurons send information to one another!
